The Moscow Institute, which was established in 2005 focuses on research on the common history of Germany and Russia, strengthening the cooperation between Russian and German scholars and the coordination and realisation of joint research and editorial projects. With a reference library, services and a number of activities and events the Institute serves as a “support base” for Russian German studies and German Russian studies.
